Nirath is a beautiful village situated along the Sutlej River, known for its rich cultural heritage, traditional Himachali architecture and peaceful mountain surroundings. The main attraction is the historic Surya Narayan Temple, a remarkable Nagara-style temple dedicated to the Sun God. The temple complex features ancient stone sculptures and the distinctive image of Surya riding a chariot drawn by seven horses. Visitors can also enjoy the Sutlej River, traditional village life, scenic Himalayan landscapes and nearby attractions around Rampur and Narkanda. This makes Nirath an ideal destination for travellers looking for spirituality, culture, nature and a peaceful Himalayan stay.

By air: The nearest major airport is Chandigarh International Airport, approximately 200–220 km from C Square Homestay, Nirath. From Chandigarh, guests can hire a taxi or take a bus towards Rampur Bushahr/Nirath. Shimla Airport (Jubbarhatti) is another option, around 120 km away, but has limited flight connectivity.
By train: The nearest major railway station is Kalka Railway Station, approximately 200 km from C Square Homestay, Nirath. From Kalka, guests can hire a taxi or take a bus towards Shimla–Rampur/Nirath.
By bus: C Square Homestay, Nirath is well connected by road. Guests can take an HRTC bus from Shimla ISBT towards Rampur/Recong Peo and get down at Nirath. Direct HRTC services to Nirath are available on this route.
By road: C Square Homestay, Nirath is located on the Shimla–Rampur National Highway (NH-5). Guests can drive from Shimla towards Rampur Bushahr and reach Nirath, where the homestay is easily accessible by road.

When to come

The best time to visit Nirath is March to June and September to November, when the weather is pleasant and ideal for sightseeing, nature walks and exploring nearby attractions.
